From Passion to Progress: Advocating for Equality
Born in Tripoli, Libya, in 1962, Matt dedicated their life to LGBT activism, starting as Chair of Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ University’s Gaysoc during the AIDS crisis. Over the decades, they have campaigned for equal rights, co-founded youth groups, and organized Pride events, earning an MBE in 2016 for Services to LGBT Equality. A passionate photographer since their teens, their work has highlighted LGBT history and activism, including the 2018 Northampton exhibition, Outlaws
